about all the different uses for paper flowers.

The details and the

simple to follow.

My seven year old
daughter and I sat
down and made several of the designs
demonstrated in your
book and totally
enjoyed ourselves.

I recommend to anyone wanting to learn how to make paper flowers to purchase this book. "

" I bought your book to give to my daughter in-law and granddaughter, after printing it out I was reading it and decided to try one of the flowers, so I grabbed some tissues
and followed your instructions, to my surprise I had something that looked like a flower.

I found I had enjoyed myself and had a sense of pride at what I had just done.

Thank you. Is it OK to make another copy that I can use when my
granddaughter comes over for visits so we can make flowers together.

Thank you, "

RETRO ARTISTIC FLOWERS

An old fascinating craft is making artificial flowers, in Victorian days they were made out of scraps of silk and other materials.  But when crepe paper was founded the art of paper flower making was truly brought about.  Now in these days paper flower making looks real enough to make you think they are, and you may catch yourself stopping to smell them.  You may find this craft is so intriguing you may want it as a hobby.  There is a thrill about feeling the paper blossoming into flowers right in your own fingers.

In the Victorian era there were etiquette laws that dictated everyone’s actions.  There were rules for courting, engagements, weddings, and about every type of social event.  The era was known for its love of flowers, so its no wonder that they used flowers as a means of communicating messages, and paper flowers were a great way to do this.  These are some of the flower meanings that were used Lily was purity, Lavender meant distrust, Daisy was innocence, the Morning Glory meant affection, the marigold was sorrow, the rose meant simplicity, and the Pansy was thoughtfulness, these are only a few of the special meanings.

Arranging paper flowers into different arrangements is easier than using other flowers, because of their flexibility they are easily made into whatever you want.  They can be arranged in vases or as tiebacks for you draperies or even decorating a party or float for a parade.  There are lots of uses for these beautiful paper flowers.
